Emeritus Professor, University of Sussex 

(formerly Chair in Imaging Physics, Brighton and Sussex Medical School)

My general scientific interests are Quantitative MR, mostly Dynamic Contrast Enhanced imaging, and measurements in the brain.

I have over 200 publications, 13,000 citations and an h-index of 60.

I have edited and part-written two books  (see qmri.org):

From time to time I consult on MRI,  medical image analysis and applications in drug trials

From 1985 to 2006 I was in the NMR Research Unit, Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London (part of UCL); from 1998 I was Professor of Medical Physics.

In 2014 my paper on DCE-MRI (1991) was recognised as one of the 30 most influential papers published in the journal Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
